Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry

Dear Gift of Life Australia,

Since 1994 Shula Endrey-Walder has made an enormous contribution to the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR) by facilitating the enrolment of over 3000 Jewish donors in NSW. This year Shula has furthered that commitment by joining with Rabbi Slavin to establish the Gift of Life Australia – Recruiting donors to the ABMDR. This is an important step in raising awareness of the need for Jewish people to consider joining the ABMDR in NSW. Jay Feinberg and The Gift of Life in the USA are well known around the world, having provided support and assistance to many people in need of a transplant, so linking the two programs will be a meaningful step for many Jewish people. This is an important initiative and I congratulate Shula and Rabbi Slavin for their energy and hard work.
